This is the new Alpha,
built on the success on the previous, its designed to deal with the
new level of 'Disc/Spinner' robots. Its powered by two 120watt
(300peak) 12v Bosch Motors, controlled by a Vantec RDFR23
speedcontroller. It currently uses a 12v 3Ah NiCad BotPacks but may
soon be changed for a lighter option and also looking at adding
extra cells. Since the previous version was built robots have
evolved and became more destructive, so our armour has vastly
improved. It has a 3.2mm Hardox 450 front scoop with 3.2mm Grade 5
Titanium side and back armour. The base and lid is 5mm T6 Aluminium.
Its already building on the reputation of the previous.
