Over the past 5 years
Team MAD have been involved in a number of projects. As well as the
heavy and feather weight robots we have built a number of Ant
weights. These robots weight up to 150g! Team MAD have been very
successful with our ant weights Hades and Chroma. Both have won the
European Championship and Hades has also won the English and the
World Champion status. As well as these titles they have both won a
number of Live events.
When you attend a Live event you
can be sure Team MAD are there. Once you have reached the car park
you will see the Team MAD trailer. With our custom look the trailer
transits all our robots plus the arena lighting and sound effects!
Most people test their robots at
live events, Team MAD like to test our robots a little earlier.
That's why we have built our very own arena! The arena is perfect
for testing heavy weight robots and can contain up to 6 feather
weight robots fighting! The arena has been completely built by hand
by Team MAD and lies at the bottom of our garden. Although the arena
is outside it is covered by a high quality marquee on all sides. Or
we can open up the sides and let G3-FP throw some feather weights
into the stream running next to the arena. The arena is ideal for
those summer roboteer's BBQ's, and also has one of the smoothest
arena floors around!
